On an unrelated note, it was harder than I thought to find an online full-text version in English, to get the English translation of that quote.

It just happened that when I started thinking about the topic, I asked myself why these games were influential to me, and not just some games I liked. So naturally, I went off on a tangent in every other description. It was a fun write.

And just as you, I’m a sucker for story. I think it’s one of the reasons why MMOs can annoy me if their quest lines are just a bit too off too regularly.
